So, this was the very first mini I painted on my return into the hobby back in late 2016.

It was this Blood Bowl release that brought me back and got me hooked on this wonderful time sink. I remember reading the old White Dwarf and the old GW miniature catalogues they used to do and I LOVED the “Specialist games” section but as a kid and having a lack of knowledge of the internet (and online shopping) it was baffling to me on how you get hold of the super cool minis.

Now looking back, it seems obtuse that the internet was something new and confusing but the early 2000’s were a different time (I’m having an old man moment, don’t mind me).

Anyway, buying and painting these new old BB guys really made me feel like I’d captured something special from my youth and I’m so glad GW brought back the old game… I have a lot I owe them for…
