Unfortunate Villager #1

I love zombies so I had a lot of fun painting this guy as a one off, maybe when I get quicker at painting, I can build up the nerve to paint a whole unit of these boys but until then he’ll just have to remain as patient 0.

It was nice to just mess about with this guy knowing that if I messed up, I could just add a bit of blood or dirt and hide the most egregious sins.

The skin looks pretty wicked and I feel the bone jutting through looks good. Even now I look at him and feel that I got lucky when I painted this “happy little accident”.
